At my core, I am passionate. I am so passionate that I sometimes find it hard to pick one, or even a few, interests or values to dedicate my heart to.

As a 23-year-old college graduate on the precipice of freedom, everyone loves to ask what I see for my future. I always give complicated answers that can lead to some awkward pauses, but if I reduce my chaotic dreams to their simplest forms, I have three visions. One, I want to be a writer. Two, I want to connect with people. And three, I want to see the world.

Because wildly passionate people have trouble doing anything halfway, I left my home with a year-long visa to backpack through Australia. Then, I bought a 2003 Nissan X-Trail I’ve named Goldie. Since October 2023, I’ve been living out of Goldie while working odd jobs, writing, meeting new people, and, most importantly, exploring the beautiful Aussie wildlife.

Along the way, I'm searching for a synergy between my visions. This blog is documenting my experience. I hope to inspire others, especially young people and women, to follow their most authentic paths (whether it be abroad or at home).

Do not be mistaken, this is the craziest thing I’ve done. Nerves and anxiety are a core part of my experience, but when you’re doing what you love, the lowest lows will never outweigh the highest highs.
